WHO ARE WE?
We are proud Torontonians.
In Colour Tour Company was created to provide Torontonians with the essential stories that sculpted their communities. We live in one of the world's most fascinating cities with well over 200 years of history dating back before Canada's confederation. It saddens us to think that downtown residents can go their entire lives without being able to experience the epic tales that took place just around the corner from their house.
The stories we share are a result of hundreds of hours of research and community input. Our expert storytellers are Toronto residents that strive to paint you a picture of your neighbourhood. Let us show you around streets that are much more than just residential quarters. Let us open your eyes to see a whole knew city that you've only ever had a brief understanding of. INTRODUCING OUR GUIDES...
Monika
Niagara-on-the lake native turned Toronto resident, Monika has called this city home for the last eight years after graduating with an architecture degree from The Toronto Metropolitan University (Formerly Ryerson University). Since then, she’s enjoyed contributing to Toronto's built landscape from neighborhood bars to a major airport.
Monika loves exploring the city’s roads on her bike. In her free time, Monika writes for a local newsletter promoting community conservation.
Jay
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Jay trekked through most of Germany before returning to Canada for his university schooling at McMaster. Jay partook in walking tours in all the cities he visited. Having enjoyed those tours so much, he began to wonder if he, too, could be a tour guide.
Putting further thought into it, the next question was where would he want to be a tour guide? His home of Edmonton called upon him during COVID, but he fortunately returned to Toronto and has been a guide here ever since , conducting unforgettable tours of Cabbagetown. He enjoys history, odd facts, walking, reading, and traveling. Oh, and beer, of course; he does enjoy a good beer!

At 27, Cory is already a standout tour guide in Toronto. Growing up in Brampton, Cory's passion for culture and community thrived. He journeyed up to the city every summer during university to explore Toronto's diverse neighborhoods, uncovering its rich tapestry.
Cory's love for storytelling led him to the In Colour Tour Company. With his energy and charisma, he quickly became a favorite, specializing in Cabbagetown tours. When he's not guiding, Cory explores Toronto's countless neighbourhoods, indulges in its cuisine and arts scene. He is always seeking new tales to share. Whether you're a visitor or local, Cory invites you to explore Toronto's past and present with him.
