We guarantee groups of 12 or less. We may walk through narrow pathways and stop in crowded courtyards. Keeping our groups small ensures that everyone has a chance to stay close to our guides during walks and hear the fascinating stories that they have to share.

Our tours happen rain or shine! Toronto weather in the summertime is delightful, but can be unpredictable. Please check the forecast before joining us for tours. In our experience a rain proof jacket with a hood is the most effective clothing to bring.

Our tours are completely outside so the weather can be a factor.

Yes. While minor changes in our tour may affect the overall ease of accessibility, we do everything we can to ensure that every guest who wants to participate in our tours can.

All sales are final and cannot be cancelled. We cannot accommodate changes or refunds.

If the event is cancelled, the ticket is refunded. Our guides leave the start location 15 minutes after the tour’s start time. No refunds will be given for missed tours.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your furry friends along on our tour! We understand that pets are often part of the family, and we are happy to accommodate them as long as they are well-behaved and do not disturb other guests on the tour.

Dress for the weather. Our tours are completely outside so the weather can be a factor.

Depending on the tour!

Our Cabbagetown Walking Tour includes a restroom break about 90 minutes into the tour. Please prepare and empty your tanks before each tour.

Most of our tours have at least one break where you can take a seat. If time allows, we have been known to stop and pick up a coffee along the way (or frozen treat depending on the weather). However, if you need a moment to catch your breath or capture that stunning picture, all you have to do is ask your guide.

Once your booking is received, an automated booking confirmation will be sent to you. The tour start time and location will be included in the booking. A reminder for your tour will also be sent to you 1 day prior to the start time (if your tour has been booked more than one day in advance).

Please bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable footwear and sunscreen. Depending upon the forecast, a sturdy umbrella could be your best friend.

Currently our tours are offered in English only.

We do not accept cash for our tours. Our website accepts most major credit cards for payments.

Yes, although guides prefer a five star review, we will accept any monetary gratuity.

Just don’t bring a tripod, we’re all gonna laugh at you.

You will receive directions to each of our starting points when booking and can find paid parking nearby.

However, Toronto roads in the summertime can be hellish, so we strongly suggest arriving by public transport and NOT driving!!!

Cell phones are encouraged on the tour for taking photos, staying in touch, tweeting, snapping, and whatnot.
However, we require guests to silence their phones while on tour and refrain from making calls during the experience.

You can book your tour right here on our website.

Please don’t show up hoping to pay cash! We have a strict upper limit on tour group size and would hate to have to turn guests away.

You certainly can! Private tours are available for all our tours and special events. To set up your private tour or to learn more, please visit this page and send us a line.
